Climbing

There is a box
High on a shelf
In it contains
knowledge and wealth
The higher you climb
The more you lose

The more you lose
The worse you feel
The more you need
The box to be real
Keep on climbing
You're almost there

You're almost there
It's straight ahead
One more decision
Or else you're dead
Do you throw it all away
In an effort for glory and fame?

In an effort for glory and fame
You left yourself behind
There's nothing left
But an empty shell
A hollow piece
Of whatever remains

Sharing It All

My heart is open, my mind is free
Nothing quite like serenity
An open field, a hidden vale
Our ocean boat with billowed sail

My back is strong, my hands don't ache
I have learned what I can take
A frigid brook, a thorny rose
A loom to make our own clothes

The life is simple, the happiness true
Never again will I be blue
The sun will shine, the rain will fall
But I have you to share it all

New Renaissance

I'm back with a vengeance, it's a new renaissance
Nothing to lose, left with nonchalance
I was backed in a corner, but I am free
Nothing to lose, yet less misery

I yearn for peace, but understand
That no one's found it without a stand
I must fight, and I will win
So that you won't live again

I will stand strong and fight today
Behind the scenes and in the fray
Yelling commands to all my help
From elders to the new young welp

We will come back, we will prevail
Over the hills and in the vale
These rivers will run with the blood
Heads will fall with a resounding thud

Eventually, you will see
The mistake was not me
For you alone had it all
Thrown away with one last call

The Queen

Sitting on her throne the Queen glares down
As her servants scurry around
She barks and she screams to all who can hear
"Do my bidding, you have nothing to fear!"

No one believes, but does as their told
There will be none to break the mold
But one soldier stands tall, he makes his escape
To flee from the pain he has come to embrace

He runs and he runs until he falls
Looks to the streets and the shopping malls
There is a woman, her name unknown
But in his heart, their tale is sewn

They go to the castle and storm the gates
Finding the Queen that everyone hates
They use their tact, they use their skill
Steal it all for their own thrill

"Your time has come, it was obscene,"
The soldier cries to the Queen,
"I stole your crown and your prize
I took what's mine, now no more lies!"

Your Time Is Now

i am counting down to your embrace
the feeling leaving from my face
i do not hear i do not see
but that is no tragedy

i long for what i can not have
the prize that's just out of my grasp
a yearning for the one that's dear
that bullet placed behind my ear

a sanctified bitch's scorn
and the devil's bright red horn
i'm falling far from your grace
into her love embrace

the calender falls of the wall
as they say, time heals all
but wounds that can not bleed
will always be to plant the seed

the seed of doubt sown on the ground
leads to folly, the fool's around
lead him, drag him, he will stray
no one will be there for your day
