The End

He hides in the shadows as she reaches her car.
Swiftly he comes up behind her,
Covers her mouth
Puts her in a blood choke.
"Go to sleep, bitch."
He hears her muffled cries from the backseat when she wakes up a few minutes later.
He has no sympathy.
There is a fear in her eyes unlike anything he's ever seen before.
It's exciting.
She finally feels his pain.
His sorrow and loss.
Or at least she will...

Upon reach the cabin,
He drags her by the hair out of the car.
Pulls her into the shack.
She looks around,
All over there are pictures,
There are memories.

He pulls a knife from his pocket.
Draws it across her face gently.
"You scared yet?"
Slice.
The first cut.
The blood trickles down her cheek.
Slice.
Another cut.
The blood trickles faster now.

"Don't worry. I'm not going to kill you. Yet."
He smiles as he looks into her eyes.
It's the smile of a man with nothing to lose.
A smile that shows pain.
A smile that shows justified hate.
A smile of insanity.

Just when she thinks she sees
A glimmer of humanity in his eyes
The spark is gone.
More cuts.
A thousand tiny cuts.
Until she is screaming in pain.
Writhing, bound to the chair
SCREAMING IN PAIN

No one can hear her.
No one is there.
He is there
But his soul is empty.
Nothing to lose.

With her bleeding profusely from every inch of her skin,
He pours a bucket of salt water over her head.
She screams in agony.
He has no compassion for her.
He makes sure she's bound securely
Before he leaves for the day.

"I'll be back tomorrow
to pick up where I left off."
